Designer Exchange will not be able to accept items with any of the following flaws or conditions:

- Missing designer or care labels (some vintage exceptions may apply)
- Stains from food, drinks, perspiration, makeup, etc.
- Heavy wear like holes, rips, moth damage, bobbling, pulls
- Fabric damage from washing, ironing or dry cleaning
- Faded or discoloured fabric
- Stretched or hardened fibers (e.g., wool, cashmere)
- Overstretched elastic (e.g., waistbands)
- Thinning fabric (e.g., worn knees)
- Strong odours (smoke, food, perfume, moth balls, damp)
 - Clothing must be washed/cleaned before selling.
